Program Description

Adult Basic Education (ABE) Classes: targeted at students whose educational functioning level (EFL)/grade level equivalency (GLE) is below a 9th grade level will provide instruction in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Each section has workplace skills, job readiness, critical thinking and career exploration built into the curriculum.
SSC's English as a Second Language (ESL) Program offers tuition free courses for individuals who are interested in improving their English speaking, writing, and digital literacy skills. The first step to this process is to take an assessment and register for classes.
